Out of Office

(Sunday Paper, Year VII, Issue 29)

Last week I hinted at the fact that I was doing some traveling this week.

I didn’t want to outright say that because I don’t like advertising all over the internet that we’re away from home.

But away from home we were.

By the time you read this, we’ll be back home.

We covered a lot of miles, but in general it was a restful week.

Next week I’ll give you the full rundown because this week I’m on vacation.

I just wanted to check in and let you know that I hadn’t forgotten about the promises made last week.

So for this week I’ll tell you:

-There wasn’t a ton of album listening or movie watching (there was some, though. More on that at the bottom.)

-There was a lot of unhealthy eating

-There was baseball

-There was a lot of driving and flying and a couple of different cities

-There was one very grateful son (me) whose parents dog-sat

-There was a pool

-We lucked into really nice weather

-And there was the great 44th birthday picture that I was able to take (Thanks, Henry Aaron!)

What I’ve Been Enjoying

Thanks to Delta I was able to watch a couple of movies this week that I didn’t expect to be able to watch. Good movie options on those flights. (The new Thor was always part of the vacation plan.) Here’s what we listened to on our long drives this week, and what I watched on the ground and in the air:

  • “Doolittle” - Pixies

  • “Hounds of Love” - Kate Bush

  • “Indigo Girls” - Indigo Girls

  • “I And Love And You” - The Avett Brothers

  • 42

  • Thor: Love and Thunder

  • His Girl Friday

And lastly, the social media links are below for you to check out and follow. Thanks!
