(Sunday Paper, Year V, Issue 25)

It’s Father’s Day, something we’ve been celebrating all month already at the Sunday Paper, as the kids (a la Bil Keane and ‘The Family Circus’) have taken over as I’ve taken some time away.

We’ve already had my older two daughters the past two weeks - you can read their posts by clicking one of these links - and this week it’s my youngest daughter’s turn.

(It’s also a special day for her.)

Here’s what she wrote last year, and at that link you can access her posts from previous years as well.

This is what she has to say this year.

Todays my birthday AND Fathers Day. I made a super awesome card for Fathers Day.

Since we can’t meet our new teachers in school, I had a google meet to meet my teacher. Her name is Ms. Pennie. I want to stay in third grade instead of going into fourth grade.

I’ve been keeping myself busy with lots of books and crafts. I’ve also played outside a lot. I’m sad that the school year is already over. I miss my friends, but I can talk to two of them on an app called Messenger Kids. My sisters have the app too and we talk to each other even though were a couple rooms away.

We got a fire pit, so we make smores a lot. The smores are amazing! I used to not like smores, but now I do.

Books I’m reading: Panda-monium That’s all, because I only read like one book at a time. The book after that I’m going to read is the next book of the series, Lion Down.

I miss going to the library since readings one of my favorite things in the world to do, but I do have a big stack of books I still need to read. As I think of that, I realize I have way more books to read than that stack.

I finished cleaning my room a couple days ago. Now it’s really clean. Tate can now come into my room.

Today, were baking a unicorn cake for my birthday. It’s three layers.
