The Dog Takes Over Part III

(Sunday Paper, Year VI, Issue 27)

Hi, it’s John.

Happy 4th of July.

I’m still enjoying some time away from writing the Sunday Paper, for this week and next.

We have one more guest poster lined up for next week…and as for this week, it’s none other than Tate.

She’s such a good girl, and this week she took a break from eating stuff she shouldn’t be eating in the yard and then throwing up so that she could write a Sunday Paper.

You can read what she had to say last year here, and this one, from two years ago, when she was just a puppy.

Here’s what’s on Tate’s mind this year.

Let’s just get this done quickly so I can go sleep some more. It’s me, Tate, and my hobbies are sleeping, going for walks, and sleeping some more. It’s nine o’clock? Naptime. It’s two o’clock? Naptime. I just woke up? Guess what. It’s naptime. If I feel up to it I will chew on a bone or one of my toys, but I really love napping.

I am happy but also not happy that my family is at home for the summer. I am happy because more time with them means they will pet me more and play with me more. But if they are petting me more and playing with me more, that means less naptime. So hopefully they will give me enough space that I can sleep, but they will still give me enough attention.

Comedy

I can be a pretty funny dog when I want. Sometimes I chase my tail, and everyone starts laughing, so I guess I’m funny.

What I’ve Been Enjoying

I have been enjoying chasing rabbits and chipmunks. They’re asking to be chased, running through MY backyard like that.

Notes

*I enjoy eating treats.

*I like running around.

*In case you didn’t know, my dad is running the Boston Marathon this year for Team Framingham, and he is raising money to support the Framingham History Center. If you are interested in donating, click here to help. (P.S. They don’t accept treats! I already tried.)

*This was translated by Abigail, who isn’t very fluent in dog but she gets by.

*The end.

*woof.
