(Sunday Paper, Year VI, Issue 26)

Hard to believe but it’s already the last Sunday in June.

I’ve been enjoying some time off from the Sunday Paper this month while my daughters handle the Sunday Paper writing duties.

(And I’ll be taking a couple more weeks as we have a couple more guest posters lined up.)

You’ve already heard from my oldest daughter and my youngest daughter.

This week, it’s my middle daughter’s turn.

You can click here to read what she wrote last year, and from there link to her past Sunday Papers.

Here’s her 2021 Sunday Paper.

It has been a year. A year in which many things happened. I went into sixth grade. I turned twelve. I did online school for a good amount of time. I went back to school in person every other week. I went back to school full time. I got both of my COVID-19 vaccines (as I am writing this it has not been 2 weeks since I got my second, but when this comes out it will have been and I will be considered fully vaccinated). Other smaller things have happened, too. I upgraded my wardrobe. My music taste changed. I cut my long hair (technically a barber did). So today I am going to choose to share a couple positives from my life since I last wrote a Sunday Paper.

I am still a dancer, and this year was a very good year for me dance-wise. I was super happy that we were in person for dance classes for the majority of the year, instead of remotely. There was a lot that I had to adjust to: wearing a mask while dancing, limiting the amount of things I brought with me to my classes, and sanitizing often, just to name a few. But I am super happy that I did take classes this year, because I have grown closer to all of my friends who are in my dance classes. We were able to get each other’s phone numbers, and I think that we are much closer than before, especially because I talked to no one other than them and the people in my house for a few months.

Writing

I have not been writing outside of school at all lately. That’s it.

Comedy

I don’t have any original jokes, but I can look some up.

“Why don’t scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything.”

“What does a nosy pepper do? It gets jalepeño business!"

“What did the left eye say to the right eye? ‘Between you and me, something smells.’”

What I’ve Been Enjoying

Lately I have been very into listening to music. When I get dressed, music. When I color, music. While I write this, music. I love finding songs that I always heard on the radio when I was younger, whether it be seven years ago or two years ago that I liked that song.

Notes

*A few song artists I like to listen to right now are Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, and Billie Eilish.

*I like strawberry ice cream.

*My favorite emoji is the watermelon, which is also my favorite fruit.

*I love to eat buffalo pretzel chips.

*As some of you may know, this year my dad is running the Boston Marathon for Team Framingham, and he is raising money to support the Framingham History Center. If you are interested in donating money, click here to help.

*The end.
